PrepPilot Stealth Mode is a native desktop overlay. Because it operates at the OS level, it is compatible with every video conferencing tool that uses standard screen sharing.
Desktop app and browser versions. Invisible during screen share, window share, and entire desktop share.
Works in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and all Chromium browsers. Invisible during all sharing modes.
Desktop app and web app. Invisible during screen sharing, window sharing, and PowerPoint Live.
Desktop and browser versions. Invisible during all screen-sharing modes including application sharing.
Classic Skype and Skype for Business. Invisible during screen sharing.
Voice channels, video calls, and Go Live streaming. Overlay is invisible to all Discord capture methods.
Huddle audio and video calls. Screen sharing in Slack cannot capture the PrepPilot overlay.
All sharing modes. PrepPilot's OS-level overlay is invisible to GoTo's screen capture.
BlueJeans, RingCentral, Whereby, Jitsi, and any other tool that uses standard screen capture APIs.
Most interview assistants run as browser extensions, which means their overlays exist within the browser's rendering context. When a screen-sharing tool captures the browser window, it captures the extension overlay too.
PrepPilot takes a fundamentally different approach. It is a native desktop application built with Tauri and Rust. The overlay window uses OS-level flags (SetWindowDisplayAffinity on Windows, CGWindowSharingType on macOS) that tell the operating system to exclude it from all screen capture operations.
This means any application that uses standard screen capture APIs — whether it is Zoom, Teams, Meet, or any future platform — cannot see the overlay. It is the same technology used to protect DRM content from screen recording.
